When attempting to add project through BOINC Manager I get a message saying: The URL you supplied is not that of a BOINC based project. The URL I used is : https://boinc.mak.termit.me/ODLK2025/ BOINC Client version is: 8.2.1 When using curl to access the file, I ger a message indication that I don't have permission to that resource: curl https://boinc.mak.termit.me/ODLK2025/get_project_config.php <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>403 Forbidden</title> </head><body> <h1>Forbidden</h1> <p>You don't have permission to access this resource.</p> <hr> <address>Apache/2.4.52 (Ubuntu) Server at boinc.mak.termit.me Port 443</address> </body></html> |

When you follow the link https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/ do you get to the main page of the project?  This page should say "Join". If you have this written, try to join from here. The TBEG BOINC project maintains the database https://boinc.tbrada.eu/spt/explore.php |

The main page doesn't have a JOIN link. However, when I select 'JOIN' from the Project drop-down menu, I get this: Read our Rules and Policies . In the BOINC Manager, select Tools / Add Project. Choose ODLK2025 from the list, or enter https://boinc.mak.termit.me/odlk2025/ Which is what I did.... |

If I logout and then go to the home page it does display a join button. If I click that button, it wants me to create a userid and set a password which I have already done obviously. The problem is I cannot get the get_project_config.php file. |

All I'm trying to do is download the config file so the client can create the project directory and populate it. I haven't gotten to the point of the server asking for my credentials yet. However, my account has no points or anything associated with it so I'm agreeable to deleting and re-creating it. I don't see how that would matter but stranger things have happened. Update: I don't see an option to delete the account. |

No thank you. I don't want to proliferate a bunch of IDs across the BOINC ecosystem. I don't think it is an ID problem anyway. I appreciate the effort though |

Update: I don't see an option to delete the account. This looks like an account issue. And I couldn't create a new account named entity because this name already exists. Only termit can solve the issue. The TBEG BOINC project maintains the database https://boinc.tbrada.eu/spt/explore.php |

If you have multiple pc's you can copy and paste the account_boinc.termit.me_adsl.xml file from the working pc and paste it into the pc you want to join and it will copy your account credentials, which are inside the file, and you won't have to 'join' ODLK2025 all over again. It works really for those of us with multiple pc's and even works across Windows and Linux and Mac platforms. You just need the correct directory for each platform. What I do is attach an easy Project to see where the files are and then copy and paste the rest from a USB stick. I run most current projects, not all at the same times though. |

I don't have a working host on ODLK2025. Denis has started issuing work again and I was able to attach ALL hosts to that project after upgrading the client to the 8.2.1 version. I will probably move to that project. |

I was able to attach to the project using the old command line method. Since I already have an account, I already have the necessary account keys.
