Is there a reason why Tasks that are months old and both completed and validated with credit issued are not being deleted from the database ?

It would free up server storage space.

There was no expiration date.

From the user task db, keep the results elsewhere.

I doubt it would free up much space overall but it could reduce the query results. I don't need to see 42k tasks from myself.
